Vietnam Airlines is the flagship carrier for Vietnam. It’s been around since the 1950’s. From my own experience it’s a pretty nice way to travel (we were upraded to business class :))
It currently flies directly to about 22 international destinations throughout Asia, Europe and Australia. In conjunction with their code Share Partners however the network reaches to a great many more. These partners include:
Delta Airlines – for flights to North America destinations – New York, Minniapolis, San Francisco, Atlanta, Detroit, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle Austin, Dallas, Washington, Houston, Miami, Boston, Denver, St Louis, Philadelphia, Chicago via Tokyo and Frankfurt. (Note many flights onto many US cities are via a second stop over in Minniapolis or Atlanta)
China Airlines – For flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco via Taipei
Alitalia – for flights to Rome via PAris or Frankfurt
Royal Dutch Airlines – For flights to Amsterdam via Paris or Frankfurt
Czech Airlines – For flights to Prague via Frankfurt
